Cleaning your beard doesn't mean that you need to strip it of its natural oils, which could lead to a dry, brittle beard. And why stop with your beard? Our soap is a great shampoo, face wash, shave soap, it is about the only soap you need.

Our Peppermint bar is made with organic oils and butter to clean your beard without stripping it of the natural oils the way regular soaps and shampoos can. The only ingredients we use that are not organic are water and lye, neither of which have organic options. The Peppermint bar has a fresh, clean scent, releasing a pleasant aroma of mint during lathering. Once rinsed though, it is a very, very mild scent, which makes it great if you want to wear a different balm scent. The natural menthol of the peppermint oil will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world.

Ingredients:

  • Water Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Organic Coconut Oil
  • Organic Palm Oil
  • Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)
  • Organic Castor Oil
  • Raw Organic Shea Butter
  • Organic Peppermint Oil
  • Organic Jojoba Oil

How to use - Start with a wet beard. Grab the bar and rub it directly onto your beard in a circular motion 4-6 times. Then do the same on the other side. If you have a rather long beard, maybe do a few rotations under your chin. Put the bar down, and lather up your beard with your hands. Now, stop and take a moment to enjoy the aroma of peppermint. From there, rinse and towel dry your beard. It's as easy as that. I usually wash my beard in the shower and will take some of the lather and use it as a face wash as well, two birds with one bar of soap.

One thing I HIGHLY recommend to help your soap bar last longer: make sure you leave it somewhere that drains well. Standing water is NOT your soap's friend. A wire rack on a shower caddy works well, but the drier the location, the better.

Now that your beard is cleaned and ready for the day, you'll want to add some product before you walk out the door. Scoop out some of your favorite Lancaster Beard Company balms and apply. That's how to start your day off right!
