Cleaning your beard doesn't mean that you need to strip it of its natural oils, which could lead to a dry, brittle beard. And why stop with your beard? Our soap is a great shampoo, face wash, shave soap, it is about the only soap you need.
Our Cedar Wood bar is made with organic oils and butter to clean your beard, hair, and skin without stripping it of the natural oils the way regular soaps and shampoos can. The only ingredients we use that are not organic are water and lye, neither of which have organic options. The Cedar Wood bar has a great smell, releasing a pleasant aroma of cedar and evergreens during lathering. Once rinsed though, it is a very, very mild scent, which makes it great if you want to wear a different balm scent.

How to use - Start with a wet beard, hair, or skin. Grab the bar and rub it directly on in a circular motion 4-6 times. If you have a rather long beard or hair, maybe do a few rotations in other areas. Put the bar down, and lather up with your hands. Now, stop and take a moment to enjoy the aroma. From there, rinse and towel dry. It's as easy as that. I usually wash my beard and hair in the shower and will take some of the lather and use it as a face wash as well.
One thing I HIGHLY recommend to help your soap bar last longer: make sure you leave it somewhere that drains well. Standing water is NOT your soap's friend. A wire rack on a shower caddy works well, but the drier the location, the better.
Now that you are clean and ready for the day, you'll want to add some product before you walk out the door. Scoop out some of your favorite Lancaster Beard Company beard balm, tattoo balm, lip balm, or pomade and apply. That's how to start your day off right!
